Terms and Conditions

• Oxted Web Design will design websites based on the client needs and will not take responsibility for the content on the website or lack of. The client is responsible for supplying the content for the website and checking the website once it has gone live.
• The client is responsible for all images and copyright of these images on the website, Oxted Web Design takes no responsibility of images that clients supply. It is the clients responsibility to ensure they are allowed to use those images.
• Once your website design is started, no refunds will be made.
• Oxted Web design will offer services based on our packages, once you agree a package you are allowed to increase that package at anytime during your contract. You are not permitted to decrease your package once we start designing your website.
• Your package is a 1 year term and after the year you move to our hosting only package which is billed per year. Your year begins once the site is live. Renewals are paid upfront for each year. Price increase can occur.
• You are responsible for your domain renewal, failure to renew your domain will be with the domain provider and not us.
• If you do not make payment for your hosting fee by your renewal date, we will turn your website off until payment is received. We will also delete your website from our hosting platform. A reactivation fee will be due once the website is removed and you ask for reactivation.
• Oxted Web Design will aim to keep your website online for at least 95% of up-time but cannot guarantee this. Your website may go down due to unforeseen circumstances, in this event your website will be unavailable until restored.
• Planned maintenance schedules will occur on your website where it will be down for some time while we do server upgrades, we aim to do these upgrades outside of UK working hours to minimise disruption.
• Oxted Web Design can terminate the contract at any time, if the contract is terminated prior to renewal a refund of what is left will be made.
• Oxted Web Design reserves the right to postpone or terminate contracts at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident or ill health.
• If Oxted Web Design fails to comply with the terms of this agreement due to any event beyond the control of Oxted Web Design, including but not limited to illness, accident, labour disputes, acts of God and other catastrophes or uncontrollable and unforeseeable equipment failure, Oxted Web Design liability is limited only to a refund of the amount received or left as part of the hosting charge and next renewal date.
• Once your website is made live, you can no longer change the "design/layout". We offer FREE updates to content and pictures throughout the year. Editing is limited to changes that do not effect the layout and design of the site.
• Once your website goes live it will be included on our portfolio page and social media, if you do not want this please let us know. We will also include a small banner at the bottom of your website stating your website was built by Oxted Web Design.
• Oxted Web Design will not be liable for SEO issues.
• Oxted Web Design DOES NOT provide Cookie or GDPR policies. This is your responsibility.
• Oxted Web Design only designs & hosts websites and does not provide any content.
